In wonderful sunshine we went today to the Val Resa Gabriela the Grotto Al Ritrovo . We had reserved and assumed inside to take in the very comfortable rooms with space

but then there was this sunshine and Gabriela recommended, but at least take the Aperitivo outside. And she was right, in this weather and this wonderful view ...

While we took the aperitivo, Prosecco with me, very clear, the sun was getting warmer, we selected our food and ordered, drank a sip of Vini Rosato Chiodi in Ascona, Eckard drank one (two?) Sips of Merlot Rosso Kopp of the Crone, the sun-warmed more and more ... and then we decided not reliably our wonderful place in the sun.

as antipasto for me there was a vegetable carpaccio with goat cheese, delicious: thin slices of cucumber, about wafer-thin slices of tomato, which tasted after a tomato, something Cicorietta verde, thin fennel plane and a few sprouts in the middle, served with 2 small fresh goat cheese, balsamic vinegar and olive oil

Gerhard Eckard and shared brotherly a carpaccio of tuna with fresh bean sprouts (I could not take pictures, the men were faster with their fork)
had I went back to Saltimbocca of chicken breast with saffron risotto

and the two men chose in a beautiful unity bovine stew with red peppers and homemade tagliatelle.

Besides these delicacies you have to necessarily indicate here because of the homemade pasta, ravioli with fresh herbs are found mostly on the card, but also a delicious gnocchi or risotto. recommends as a "trifle" or Antipasto Piatto a Ticinese:

This, however, have to eat at the next table - but with a round of grappa, we have the photography rights acquired ;-)

There are also delicious desserts, but we gave it, as so often would end up with only espresso AND !! the delicious home-made grappa, Gabriela from a gallon in the beautiful, painted by her bottles, often in quite harmless Perrier bottles, fills

and then on the table, very very dangerous, and generally it will not be be at one, because the espresso cup must also be rinsed out properly yet.
