Thanks twelve Oscar nominations sent Harvey Weinstein, Raiders of the lost golden boy, with The King's Speech at least on paper, the favorite to be the most overrated award in the world in the race. Tom Hooper's film gets so much more attention than he deserves. As a comic historical drama with absurd premise and charming first-class movie theater (on Colin Firth will be no way for Best Actor pass by) the film actually works quite well. The pale characters and all sorts of redundancies, this can not cover up completely. A detailed review at 's Evolver .
